Is Molequles free?

Yes, Molequles is free and will always be free. If you are enjoying using Molequles and would like to support its hosting costs and future development, you can pitch in with a coffee ☕️

Why do I need an account on the web app?

The Molequles web app requires an account so that your data can be reliably stored in the cloud and available on any device you login from.

This also means that Molequles is entirely cross-platform. You can login from a phone, a PC or a tablet. Molequles works on any device and operating system as long as it has a web browser.

Can I use Molequles without signing up for an account?

Yes! There is a desktop version of Molequles that supports an Offline Mode, with no account or internet connection required, storing data locally on your device.

Is there an iOS or Android app?

There is no native mobile application for Molequles at the moment. However, if you add a bookmark to Molequles.app in your Home Screen, it should open Molequles in a native-like view, without any URL or tool bar.

Where can I make a feature suggestion?

Join the Molequles Discord community! You can make feature suggestions, report bugs, and stay informed of feature updates there.

Is it open source?

Not at the moment. Molequles is a hobby project that is constantly evolving. There is always something being refactored, or a new pattern/technology being explored. I'm keeping it closed-source for the time being to maintain the flexibility to experiment freely without the overhead of managing an open-source project.
