Materials

Adding Materials
From the Materials page
Materials can be added directly in the Materials page by clicking the (+) button in the top right corner of the page. This will create a new material in the table, which you can edit directly. Changes you make are automatically saved.
Import Materials
Materials can also be imported in bulk from TSV, CSV, or JSON files in the Import Materials page. This is useful if you already have an Excel spreadsheet or other source, so you don't have to manually import materials one by one.
Materials Database
Molequles has a Materials Database which you can browse to find detailed information about fragrance materials. This information is aggregated from multiple online sources (listed for each material). From this page, you can also add materials directly to your own library, which will automatically populate the name, CAS number and IFRA limit (if applicable).
Dilutions

Materials can have many dilutions. Dilutions can range from 100% (undiluted) to 0%. Each material must have at least one dilution
Solvents
A material can be marked as a solvent by checking the "Mark as Solvent" checkbox in the material editor pane.
Usage

In the materials view, you can view each material's usage statistics in your formulas. The usage graph portrays where your most common usages may lie, and if you have any outliers. Usage is indicated as percentage of concentrate, and is sorted from highest to lowest.
Profiles

Materials can have Profiles assigned to them, allowing you to categorize your materials by scent or other properties.
